Ben armine - Holiday Lodge Self Catering Accommodation
This Victorian sporting lodge, built in 1863, nestles amongst the hills overlooking the River Blackwater. Access is along an eight-mile private track through rolling heather-clad hills, making Ben Armine a wonderfully secluded destination for a 'get away from it all' holiday.
The views from Ben Armine are magnificent. Set in superb Highland sporting terrain, the lodge is equally well placed for hill-walking, bird-watching, fishing for salmon on the nearby river, or for brown trout in the hill lochs.
Despite its modern comforts there is a sense of time-stood-still at Ben Armine. The pine-clad walls of the sitting room are covered with historical graffiti recording past triumphs with rod and gun, and the lodge is traditionally furnished throughout.
Ben Armine may be the smallest of our lodges (it sleeps nine) and the most remote - but time spent here is never forgotten.
